Swisslog Healthcare has appointed Christina Liebman vice president of global marketing and communications. Based at the company's North America headquarters in Westminster, Colourado, she will lead its global marketing and communications efforts.
Liebman joins the pharmacy and transport automation supplier with more than 20 years of marketing experience across large companies, mid-sized businesses, and growth-stage firms. She will oversee global marketing and communications strategy.
The appointment adds a senior executive focused on brand, communications, and market-facing activity as Swisslog Healthcare expands in healthcare automation. The company sells pharmacy workflow automation, transport automation, and related software to hospitals and health systems.
Cory Kwarta, Chief Executive Officer of Swisslog Healthcare, said the hire reflects the company's priorities as it grows its presence in healthcare markets. "Christina brings a rare combination of strategic vision and hands-on execution that will directly benefit our customers and partners around the world," Kwarta said. "Her collaborative leadership style, data-driven approach, and deep experience across global organizations make her an exceptional fit for Swisslog Healthcare."
Liebman most recently served as vice president of growth marketing at Beeline. Before that, she was senior director of global marketing and communications at Trimble, where she led a global marketing team supporting the autonomy and agriculture businesses.
Earlier in her career, she led global marketing and digital strategy at Advanced Energy Industries and directed integrated and digital marketing at Emerson Automation Solutions. Her background spans brand development, demand generation, corporate communications, and go-to-market strategy.
Career background
In her new role, Liebman will lead marketing and communications for a company whose products are used in hospital and health system operations. Swisslog Healthcare combines pharmacy and transport automation with services and software designed to support clinical and operational workflows.
She is expected to oversee brand activity, demand generation, digital initiatives, and customer engagement as the company pursues its next phase of growth and broader market reach.
Liebman said the role appealed because of Swisslog Healthcare's position in healthcare automation. "What drew me to Swisslog Healthcare was the opportunity to help shape the next phase of growth for a company that is transforming healthcare through automation," Liebman said. "There is a strong foundation already in place, and I am energized by the opportunity to build on that momentum by strengthening brand, demand generation, storytelling, digital transformation, and engagement to create lasting impact for the customers we serve."
She holds a Master of Business Administration in marketing from Regis University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Swisslog Healthcare provides robotic systems and operational technology for pharmacy workflows, as well as transport automation for healthcare settings. Its systems are designed to help hospitals and health systems manage operations across the continuum of care.
The company's solutions specifically aim to improve medication management and streamline the delivery of critical supplies within medical facilities. By reducing manual tasks, these automated systems allow hospital staff to focus more of their time on direct patient care.
Currently, thousands of healthcare institutions globally rely on Swisslog Healthcare's technology to optimize their daily operational efficiency.
The organization continues to invest heavily in research and development to address the evolving challenges of modern healthcare environments. With Liebman now leading the global marketing team, the firm is well-positioned to communicate these innovations to a broader international audience.
