Spreetail unveils Price Pulse to boost smarter market pricing
Spreetail has launched a new predictive pricing engine, Price Pulse, aimed at optimising pricing strategies for brands across major eCommerce marketplaces.
The company stated that Price Pulse draws on insights from billions of dollars in marketplace transactions. The engine analyses key factors that influence Buy Box algorithms, in addition to considering seasonal trends and inventory positioning across channels to determine pricing strategies.
Price Pulse is distinct from traditional repricing tools, which often focus solely on lowering prices without accounting for broader market factors. Spreetail claims this new system enables smarter pricing decisions by integrating a range of market signals, including real-time seasonality trends and cross-channel inventory awareness, alongside AI-driven pricing logic.
The tool is also integrated into the company's promotion engine, allowing brands to coordinate flash sales, maintain sales velocity, and avoid over-discounting. According to Spreetail, these features contribute to improved out-of-stock rates and an overall increase in organic product rankings.
