Podean buys Social Commerce Club in TikTok Shop push

Podean has acquired Social Commerce Club, adding a TikTok Shop specialist to its marketplace business.
Social Commerce Club, known as SCC, is a TikTok Shop-focused agency with Platinum Partner status on the platform. It works with brands including HeyDude, Hanes, Maidenform and Playtex, and brings 70 specialists into Podean.
The acquisition is Podean's sixth in nine months, expanding the group to 465 staff across 21 countries. It manages more than USD $600 million in annual media spend across a network spanning Amazon, TikTok Shop, Walmart, Mercado Libre, Instacart, Target, Shopee and more than 110 marketplaces in total.
SCC will keep its brand after the transaction. Parker Kump, chief executive officer of Social Commerce Club, will lead the combined group, while Jordan West, founder and president of Social Commerce Club, will continue to oversee strategy, growth and marketing.

The deal gives Podean a larger presence in social commerce as TikTok Shop becomes a more important sales channel for consumer brands. Podean cited forecasts that US sales on TikTok Shop will reach USD $23.4 billion by the end of 2026.
SCC has built its business around TikTok Shop services including shop set-up, creator-led sales activity and short campaign pushes designed to drive volume quickly. It was also named 2026 TikTok Shop Partner of the Year in Fashion, according to Podean, and has worked with HeyDude, which received recognition from TikTok Shop as Top Growth Seller of the Year.
For Podean, the acquisition broadens a business that has largely focused on marketplace marketing and retail media for brands selling across large eCommerce platforms. It supports more than 500 brands and has driven more than USD $5 billion in combined client sales.
Technology is also part of the transaction. SCC's Halo tool, which tracks the cross-channel sales effect of TikTok Shop content, will be integrated into Podean's Purvey.AI system.
The combined technology team will have more than 30 staff. Podean said the aim is to connect data from social media, performance marketing and marketplace operations more closely.

Leadership changes
Under the new structure, SCC's executives will take prominent roles within the wider group. Kump will run the combined operation, while West will remain responsible for strategy and growth as the SCC brand continues within Podean.
The arrangement suggests Podean wants to preserve SCC's specialist identity while extending its services to a larger international customer base. SCC was founded in 2024 and has operated from Vancouver with a remote-first global team.
Founded in 2019, Podean has expanded rapidly through acquisitions as brands seek agencies that can manage sales and advertising across multiple online marketplaces. Adding a TikTok Shop specialist reflects how agencies serving eCommerce brands are adapting to the rise of social platforms as direct sales channels rather than just marketing outlets.
Podean said its scale now gives it staff on the ground across all time zones, along with local relationships with retailers and logistics partners in fast-growing eCommerce markets. That reach is likely to matter to global brands trying to coordinate marketplace strategy across regions where platform mix, fulfilment and creator ecosystems vary sharply.
West said the transaction would help SCC broaden both its creator network and its technology plans.

Kump also pointed to international expansion for SCC within Podean.
