Markable has surpassed USD $1.7 billion in creator-driven sales and introduced a new brand identity. Sales through its platform rose 260% year on year.

The Seattle-based group runs a commerce platform for social media creators. It said the milestone comes amid broader growth in its user base and product range, with thousands of creators using its tools for product discovery, content creation, monetisation and audience growth.

The rebrand coincides with an expansion of Markable's AI-based tools, including video editing, image generation, direct messaging and storefront management. The company highlighted products including Smart Deep Links, Auto DM, Storefront Sync and Link-in-Bio.

Some AI features were moved to a free tier earlier this year, which Markable said doubled the number of creators using the platform. The move broadened its reach across both established influencers and smaller creators looking for low-cost tools to build online sales.

Growth push

The business also supports selected creators with advertising from a USD $100 million creator fund. Markable said the fund is used to increase the visibility of content that is already performing strongly.

The platform is serving both the top end of the market and newer entrants, offering tailored support to a small group of larger creators while making basic tools available free to a wider pool of users. That mix reflects a growing divide in the creator economy between a handful of high earners and a much larger base still trying to turn audiences into stable income.

Markable said its newer tools are designed to handle production and operational tasks behind the scenes while leaving the creator's on-screen presence unchanged. Recent additions include an Authentic AI Video Editor, which can turn raw footage into shoppable videos, and Realistic AI Photos, which creates 3D-style product visuals from creator-selected items.

Joy Tang, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, linked the rebrand directly to the company's expansion.

"Our new look reflects what Markable is: bold, ambitious and aligned with how creators think and work," said Joy Tang, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Markable.

She also pointed to the scale of sales passing through the platform and the changing economics for many users.

"We're growing fast because the creators we support are growing fast. $1.7 billion in creator-driven sales represents thousands of businesses expanding, many of them run by people who started making a few hundred dollars a month and are now generating six or seven figures in annual sales," Tang said.

Creator market

The announcement comes as technology groups and agencies compete to build tools around the fast-growing creator economy. Platforms are increasingly trying to offer not just publishing and analytics software, but also direct commerce, advertising support and automated production tools that can help creators turn content into product sales.

Markable cited industry estimates suggesting that more than 200 million people worldwide identify as creators. It also pointed to forecasts that the wider creator economy could exceed USD $1 trillion within the decade, underlining why companies in the sector are racing to capture a larger share of creator spending and sales activity.

The company's latest figures suggest transaction volume is growing faster than the broader market, although it did not disclose revenue, profitability or how much of the USD $1.7 billion total translated into income for the business itself. Creator-driven sales refer to purchases generated through activity on its platform rather than Markable's own turnover.

For creators, the appeal of such services lies in reducing the manual work tied to social commerce. Managing links, storefronts, product assets, direct messages and paid promotion often requires a mix of separate tools, agencies and platform integrations. Companies such as Markable are trying to bring those functions together in a single system.

Markable said automated workflows can save creators more than eight hours a week, while advertising and commerce tools can significantly increase revenue. Those claims reflect a wider trend in creator technology, where companies are using AI to handle editing, merchandising and customer engagement tasks once done manually.

The platform is now used by thousands of creators, with demand growing after free access was expanded. The USD $1.7 billion sales figure represents "thousands of businesses expanding, many of them run by people who started making a few hundred dollars a month and are now generating six or seven figures in annual sales," Tang said.
