Sinch & Verizon to enhance business messaging in the US

Yesterday

Sinch has expanded its partnership with Verizon to promote the adoption of Rich Communication Services (RCS) for Business Messaging (RBM) across the United States.

Sinch, a digital customer communications company, has announced that its collaboration with Verizon will allow businesses to deliver secure, interactive, and branded messages to Verizon subscribers. This initiative is set to enhance customer engagement and trust, as well as overall communication experiences.

The enhanced partnership with Verizon, one of the largest mobile network operators, is expected to further empower businesses across the United States by facilitating the seamless delivery of RCS messages to customers. By doing so, Sinch and Verizon want to drive wider adoption and innovation in the business messaging landscape.

RCS for Business enables businesses to offer branded messages with rich interactive features and advanced analytics, such as read receipts. Crucially, the service allows messages to be sent over a secure channel from a verified sender agent, helping businesses establish trust with their customers.

Lodema Steinbach, Vice President of Product and Carrier Relations in North America at Sinch, said, "Partnering with MNOs like Verizon underscores our commitment to providing expanded reach for RCS with innovative communications solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty." She added, "With over 15 years of building the best super network and strong partnerships with Google and mobile operators globally, Sinch continues to pave the way for advanced communication solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern businesses and enables a better experience for end users."

Sinch's Customer Communications Cloud offers businesses the full potential of RCS through its comprehensive APIs, campaign builder, and integration capabilities. The company is focused on driving the adoption of RCS for Business services on a global scale, thus ensuring that modern businesses can effectively use the latest messaging technologies to engage customers.

Several companies, including EasyPark, Nespresso, leading delivery companies, and some of the world's largest banks, are already utilising Sinch's RCS capabilities to boost customer communication.
