Blend AI opens US office to bolster ecommerce solutions

Tue, 1st Apr 2025

Blend AI, an Australian adtech company, has opened its first US office in Austin, Texas, aiming to expand its reach within the country's ecommerce market.

Founded in 2020 by Michael Bezman and Dean Krowitz, Blend AI offers an artificial intelligence platform for ecommerce businesses, aiming to simplify the online advertising process across platforms such as Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and Microsoft. The company claims to eliminate waste, complexity, and the high costs traditionally associated with digital advertising management.

Dean Krowitz, Co-Founder of Blend AI, stated, "With the rapid evolution of AI and ecommerce, businesses can leverage smarter advertising technology to free up cash flow and time—letting them grow sales while they sleep."

"Our expansion into the US unlocks massive growth potential, enabling us to bring Blend AI to ecommerce brands looking for an edge in one of the world's largest markets," Krowitz added.

The company has been successful in assisting more than 250 clients globally, across 21 countries, in selling various products. Its move into the US is also seen as a response to the increasing demand for AI-powered marketing solutions worldwide.

The choice of Austin for its US headquarters is attributed to the city's active tech scene and supportive environment for startups. This strategic decision is expected to facilitate closer collaboration with the expanding US client base, offering support to ecommerce brands aiming to scale efficiently.

Michael Bezman, Co-Founder and CEO of Blend AI, remarked on the complexity many business owners face with digital advertising, saying, "Digital advertising is overwhelming for many business owners, especially in the US. Our AI, data driven approach levels the playing field, enabling brands like Lalabu to optimise ad spend and connect with the right customers at the right time—all without a large in-house marketing team."

One notable success for Blend AI in the US market is its role in the growth of Lalabu, a Minnesota-based brand known for its Dad Shirt, which features a pouch for babywearing. With the assistance of Blend AI, Lalabu experienced significant sales growth and heightened product recognition.

Lalabu's Founder and CEO credited Blend AI for the brand's success: "Blend AI has revolutionised how we reach parents. Before partnering with them, we struggled with high ad costs and inconsistent results."

"Their platform has slashed our customer acquisition costs and boosted sales conversions. Today, the Dad Shirt is much more than just a product—it's become a cult favourite," added Lalabu's CEO.

Prior to its US expansion, Blend AI made considerable strides in the Australian ecommerce landscape. Australian brand Jones & Co benefited from Blend AI's platform, reducing its ad spend by half while doubling its revenue over a three-month period after switching from traditional marketing agencies.

Jennifer Jones, Founder of Jones & Co, commented, "We needed a fresh approach—something that gave us control and the ability to do more with less." She continued, "The results speak for themselves; Blend AI has completely transformed how we approach online advertising."

Bezman reiterated Blend AI's mission: "Our mission is simple. We want to empower ecommerce brands to focus on actually running their businesses and do what they do best—creating amazing products and experiences for their customers—while our AI handles the complexities of digital advertising."
